The Color Splash is a 5K walk/run for people in Carlisle to donate money to the Four Diamonds Fund. The Color Splash is on April 11 at the cross country course at Carlisle High School. It starts at 10:00, sign-in at 8:30 A.M.

Carlisle High School is donating all of the money to the Four Diamonds Fund, the same as Mini-Thon. There is a $25 registration fee to be able to participate in the Color Splash.

Physical education teacher Devon Collier is in charge of the Color Splash and she has two student assistants, Kara Whitmyer and Kaitlyn Adams.

Adams said, “It should be a really fun day, not only are we raising money for a great cause, but because we are bringing the community together.”

There are several groups of people coming to join in the fun of the Color Splash. Some of them are the lacrosse teams, a club called Go Girls Go, and students all around Carlisle with their families.

Collier said, “What a great way to raise money for a great cause and to promote exercise!”

Not that it has been easy.

Whitmyer said, “We have been working really hard; it has been a long process, but the end result should be great and colorful.”

While the people are participating in the Color Splash, others will be throwing powder on all of the people.

Also, if a person registers by Mar 20, they will receive a free t-shirt. All registration fees should be handed into the gym teachers.
