Little Mix released their 4th album, “Glory Days” on November 18 of this year.

After being the first group to win The X Factor (UK), singers Little Mix has been selling out arenas and having No. 1 singles in the U.K. However, the British girl-group has yet to find their success in the U.S.

The quartet released their fourth album, Glory Days, on November 18 and it became instant hit in the U.K. Glory Days debuted at Number #1 on the U.K. Singles Chart and it was also certified gold by BPI for selling over 400,000 copies.

The group has called this album “mature” in comparison to their previous albums. Glory Days contain more sexual content and encourages owning your sexuality.

The album’s lead single, “Shoutout to My Ex” starts off with member Perrie Edwards being petty as she lyrically drags her ex-fiancée Zayn Malik into the song: “I hope she getting’ better sex, hope she ain’t fakin in like I did/Took four long years to call it quits, forget that boy I’m over it.”

The fourth track “Oops” delivers a sweet doo-wop melody about “accidently” falling in love, breaking up, and suggesting that they’re better off as friends. The song features guest vocals from Charlie Puth, who sings the male perspective of the relationship.

Grammy-winning Meghan Trainor penned the track “You Gotta Not,” in which the members fiercely insults a guy who’s a scrub and is too immature for them to date: “I need a man, a man who can act like man/I don’t get paid to babysit no one.” “You Gotta Not”  sounds like Little Mix doing Meghan Trainor karaoke.

If you overlook the extreme pettiness and cheap choruses, Glory Days is decent album. Little Mix let loose and showcase their sassy and unapologetic side as they roast their ex-boyfriends, but they lack the girl power anthems like their previous singles “Wings” and “Salute.” Glory Days can finally be Little Mix’s breakthrough to gaining success in the U.S.
