Poetry Out Loud 2017 (Photos)
The local annual poetry recitation contest, Poetry Out Loud, was held on Wednesday, January 18, at 7pm. This year’s winner, sophomore Ava Wendelken, will move on to the regional competition later this winter. Sophomores Brady Chisholm and Bri Murray finished second and third, respectively. I am so proud of how far Ava W. got in Poetry Out Loud. She did such an excelent job and practiced so much I am so happy that she made it as far as she did. Ava is like a sister to me so being able to see her do so well is really cool.
