Nature hotspots of Cumberland Valley
CRAVING NATURE: Pine Grove Furnace State Park is a perfect place to visit throughout the year. The past year has been a rough one, with a lot of time spent indoors, so it is time to start making up for that and start exploring places around us!
Cumberland Valley is filled with many nature-based destinations that are waiting to be explored. These family-friendly destinations are perfect to create new memories to fill the new-year, though visiting them in the winter may require a few additional layers!

These are perfect outdoor locations for those who like to take walks/hikes. Carlisle really does offer some beautiful opportunities to get out and about. Now that things are starting to get back to normal I hope my new love for hiking does not go away. Although I would have loved to have more leisure opportunities during quarantine, I was able to take walks to stay fit and have fun in a safe way.
