On Your Ballot- US Senator

U.S. Senators are elected for six year terms with one-third of senators up for reelection every two years. Each state has two senators, with one of Pennsylvania’s seats up for election this cycle on November 8. Senators take action on bills, resolutions, amendments, motions, nominations, and treaties by voting. They vote in a variety of ways, including roll call votes, voice votes, and unanimous consent.
