A new brew in town: Denim Coffee (Review)

For the non-coffee lover, try Denim’s strawberry smoothie.

Denim Coffee is a newly opened retail coffee shop located in downtown Carlisle (1 S Hanover St).

Denim is a typical hipster/millennial vibe with having plenty of open space and a simplistic aesthetic.

The shop itself only had two people working there at the time so it took us around fifteen minutes to wait for our orders.

However one of the biggest disappointments was that they barely had anything on the menu; due to their “soft opening,” they had a limited amount of variety.  Yet what they had was well made and delicious.

If you’re looking for a place to eat, Denim may not be the best place due to having limited food options at the moment (soup and grilled cheese the day we visited). But it’s the probably the most inexpensive coffee shop in town; a latte cost around $3.25 versus a latte at Starbucks that cost around $4.19.

Despite having a few things to offer at this time, the staff and I had a splendid afternoon and appreciated the great customer service that we were given. If you’re looking for a place to relax and catch up with a friend, do yourself a favor and stop by Denim Coffee.
